TEXTILES
SALT WEAVE STUDIO
Salt Weave Studio creates high-end woven blankets made in Yorkshire, rooted in traditional
textile values and contemporary design. Woven in Yorkshire mills using 100% merino
lambswool, each piece is carefully finished by hand in the studio. The work reflects a quiet,
enduring approach to making — thoughtful textiles designed for warmth, comfort, and everyday
living.

MIXED MEDIA
SARAH JANE BROWN
Sarah Jane Brown is an established artist creating sculptures from recycled metals, wood, and
newsprint.
Each sculpture is individually handmade.
The metal is rusted and weathered by nature’s elements, and assembled with love and attention given
to the smallest details.
Themes are of the simple narratives: Homes & Gardens, Birds & Trees, Boats sailing on the ocean
with the smallest of fish and a dropped anchor.
Each sculpture tells a visual story still to unfold.....

Her work is inspired by particular moments she captures with her camera whilst walking. Each piece is full of the little details and atmosphere of those moments, and shows the deep connection and attachment she has for the Yorkshire landscape.
Her original landscapes are transformed into beautiful greetings cards for all occasions and seasons.

CERAMICS
SARA HOOD FINE ART
Neurodivergent artist Sara Hood creates work to promote acceptance and knowledge of neurodiversity.
The use of many different clay bodies symbolises the diversity of our society. The rabbit and sometimes other prey animals appear as a central agent referencing the fight or flight response which is prevalent in many neurodiverse conditions.
Neurodiversity adds a richness to the weave of our species and its cultures, it should be held dear and celebrated in all its forms.

ART
SARAH JANE NICHOLLS ART
Since moving to Yorkshire from London in 2008 Sarah has been inspired by the breath-taking Yorkshire countryside and in particular how the colours and textures of the trees change across the year. Sarah’s passion is painting trees and landscapes, a lot of which are painted onto sheets of glass. When painting on glass Sarah paints everything in reverse, painting things in the foreground first then layering the paint from behind. This means she is almost painting blindly and has to keep turning the glass over to review the progress and how to continue with the painting.

PAPER CRAFTS
SILVER BIRCH CARDS
Nestled among the hills of Mid Wales, Silver Birch Cards creates and publishes greeting cards that celebrate the quiet beauty of art and nature. We publish work by 20 different artists who work in a variety of styles. The owners of Silver Birch Cards are 2 of these artists.
Each card begins with original artwork, chosen for its character, craftsmanship, and warmth. This could be a linocut, collage, watercolour, acrylic or digital art.
